Online tool tracks whether ministers are doing their jobs

• Parliamentary Monitoring Group takes custodianship of ParliMeter, a platform that allows the public to track meeting attendance, bills, committee meetings, and other actions in Parliament.
• ParliMeter was developed to make South Africa's parliamentary processes more transparent, accessible, and easier to navigate, and allows users to track attendance, bills, committee meetings, questions to Ministers, and parliamentary recommendations.
• ParliMeter's future will be shaped by its users, with civil society, journalists, researchers, policymakers, and the public encouraged to use and provide feedback on the platform.
