• Sun International's CFO and finance director Norman Basthdaw is retiring at the end of 2026 after 14 years, marking the end of an era for the owner of Sun City in South Africa.
• Basthdaw joined Sun International in 2013 as head of corporate finance and new business development, before being appointed to his current roles in 2017.
• The company has named Vannessa Olver as Basthdaw's successor, who will start her new role on January 1, 2027, and will help with the transition until April 2027.
