DStv launches new channel

• DStv has launched SuperSport Extra 2 (channel 217), providing additional capacity for premium live and delayed sports matches.
• The changes were implemented before MultiChoice’s planned shutdown of four channels at 23:59 on 16 September 2026, as part of a broader channel overhaul to cut 11 channels across all DStv packages in 2026.
• DStv Access has benefited from the changes, gaining access to WWE (DStv 128), Trace Gospel (DStv 322), and Trace Ngoma (DStv 326) among other content.
