• The TDM strategy aims to change commuter behavior and promote more sustainable commuting choices, such as flexible working hours and prioritizing high-occupancy vehicles, to reduce reliance on personal vehicles in the city's busiest areas.
• The city's traffic congestion has been ranked as the 6th most congested globally, with commuters stuck in traffic for around 94 hours a year, and the TDM strategy is expected to help alleviate this issue by better utilizing existing capacity and infrastructure.
