Don’t mess with SARS: Controversial businesswoman and TV personality can lose 5 Sandton houses to cover R125.9 million tax bill
A High Court order has forced businesswoman and TV personality Shauwn Mkhize to sell five Sandton properties worth millions in order to cover her massive R125.9 million tax bill, which includes a personal debt of R13.3 million and a liability for her company's tax debt of R112.5 million. The move comes after SARS successfully initiated a civil recovery process in 2020 to recover over R204 million in corporate taxes, penalties, and interest from Zikhulise Group, the company at the centre of the dispute.
