SARS coming after one group of people in South Africa
- As of 1 April 2026, SARS requires that a content creator whose total taxable supplies exceed R2.3 million over a 12-month period must register for VAT, subject to applicable legislation.

- The new guideline explains that non-cash benefits received as consideration for services, content, publicity, or contractual obligations should typically be valued at their full market value for tax purposes.
