Big upgrade for one of Cape Town’s busiest roads

A major upgrade to the M3 in Newlands is underway, aiming to alleviate bottlenecks and improve traffic flow along one of Cape Town's busiest roads. The initial phase of the project will widen the road along the shoulder and footway, setting the stage for future improvements. Ultimately, the upgrade seeks to enhance the free flow of traffic between Upper Hillwood Road and Newlands Avenue, benefiting commuters and reducing congestion in the area.
