Civil Aviation Authority says Airlink could be grounded for extreme rugby stadium flyover

Airlink's extreme low-altitude flyover of Cape Town Stadium on August 29 may have been the catalyst for its potential grounding, as the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) has launched an investigation into the incident. The SACAA's findings suggest that even with approved flyovers, accidents can still occur, casting doubt on the safety of such operations. With the SACAA now giving Airlink 30 days to respond, its future operations remain uncertain.
