Former ANC spindoctor’s R3.7-million Porsche and luxury Steyn City property frozen

• The Special Tribunal dismissed former Enviro Mobi director Pule Mabe’s application to suspend the investigation and the preservation order over his Porsche 911 Carrera GTS and luxury Steyn City home.
• The SIU had secured the preservation order freezing these assets in November 2024, which Mabe appealed. He was ordered to pay the legal costs of his application. The SIU’s pre-proclamation investigation was lawful and preliminary in nature, not a full investigation under the SIU Act.
• Mabe has claimed that he had resigned as the director of Enviro Mobi in 2016, the year before the contract was awarded.
