CEO received R1-billion pay package and then his company lost R420 billion

South Africa's largest company, Naspers, has suffered a staggering 46% decline in its share price, wiping out R420 billion of its market value, after CEO Fabricio Bloisi received a R1-billion pay package in 2025. This stark contrast highlights the disconnect between executive compensation and the company's plummeting fortunes.
