US launches Super Intelligence task force
In a move aimed at addressing growing concerns about artificial intelligence's security risks, the US has launched a new White House task force to assess the technology's risks and determine the federal government's responsibility over AI. Led by Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton, the task force will have 120 days to prepare a report on the risks posed by AI and the government's role in regulating it, with some prominent AI leaders expressing support for measures to make AI development safer.
