Chinese auto giant responds to AA concerns about its most popular SUV

Chinese auto giant Jetour has clarified its calculation method for its T1 and T2 SUVs, but the Automobile Association of South Africa remains unconvinced. The revised payload figures, which exceeded the claimed 475kg for the T2 Xplora, have raised concerns about the vehicles' structures. Jetour's application for the revised payload rating for the T1 has yet to be approved, highlighting the need for further testing and validation before the vehicles can receive the updated ratings.
