Capitec wins fight over R2.4 million Porsche

Capitec has won its battle to keep the R2.4 million Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupé, with the Supreme Court of Appeal ruling that the vehicle was not entitled to protection as part of Ubuntu Family Health Centre's business rescue proceedings. The centre had financed the car through Capitec, but the bank had cancelled the agreement before the business rescue process began, rendering the protection invalid. As a result, Capitec is free to retain the luxury vehicle.
