South Africa in talks about new R8.2 billion dam in Zimbabwe

South Africa is set to invest up to R8.2 billion in a new dam project in Zimbabwe, with the proposed Thuli Moswa dam expected to supply crucial water to a key industrial hub. The 18-month preparation phase will be followed by three years of construction, with the project's terms set to last between five and 35 years, as the agreement aims to secure a stable water supply for the Musina-Makhado Special Economic Zone.
