• Sashin Sookroo led FNB Connect to report more than R3 billion in revenue.
• Sookroo was born and raised in the town of Empangeni, notable for being the centre of the Zululand sugar industry, and for its proximity to the region’s game reserves.
• Sookroo completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2015.
