Major shopping mall in one of South Africa’s worst-run municipalities is being sold

• Northridge Mall has been sold to Cape Town 101 Investments
• The sale was approved by the Competition Commission, and the mall was expanded and renovated by the Moolman Group and PHG Group in 2019
• The sale comes as the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality, where the mall is located, continues to face criticism for its financial mismanagement and inadequate service delivery
